A 39-YEAR-OLD man has been killed by a crocodile in Chanika area of Lupososhi district. In an interview with ZANIS, Lupososhi District Commissioner Simon Mwenya identified the deceased as Stanslaus Besa and disclosed that he was attacked and killed by the reptile on Sunday. Mwenya said Besa went missing on Sunday and his remains were discovered on Monday by the local people. The District Commissioner has since expressed concern over the continued crocodile attacks in Chanika area. Mwenya said there is need for the Department of National Parks and Wildlife to move in and address the situation.
