GOVERNANCE Activist Rueben Lifuka says there is need to amend the Parliamentary and Ministerial Code of Conduct to include both entry and exit declarations of assets, incomes, and liabilities. In an interview, Wednesday, Lifuka said the new dawn government had not done well in strengthening the anti-corruption and integrity laws which one would have thought would be its priority. “We need to amend the Parliamentary and Ministerial Code of Conduct so that we can include in our law both entry and exit declarations of assets, incomes, and liabilities and most importantly, we can have mechanisms of verifying these declarations.
