GOVERNMENT has postponed the opening dates for all TEVET learning institutions from January 15, 2024 to January 29, 2024 due to the rising numbers of cholera cases. Announcing this decision at a media briefing in Lusaka, Monday, Minister of Science and Technology Felix Mutati said the unfortunate cholera situation had left the Ministry no choice but to postpone the opening dates for two weeks. “The Ministry of Technology and Science has been following the recent unfortunate developments and announcements on the rising numbers of Cholera cases and deaths recorded in the country.
