THE Committee on Local Government Accounts has reprimanded Shiwang’andu Town Council for holding on to K3,055,814, Constituency Development Funds (CDF) which should have been used as bursary for secondary school pupils in 2022. Appearing before the committee, Monday, Shiwang’andu council officials revealed that only 43 pupils were sponsored using the Bursary Secondary Schools Development Funds.
