THE steady growth of the Zambian music industry has seen some artistes being booked to perform in the diaspora. Some of the countries in which Zambian nationals living there have invited artistes to go and perform include, Australia, UK, Germany and the United States, among others. These international bookings and performances, however, have received some backlash from some sections of society who mock and allege that Zambians artistes only perform to a handful of patrons when they are invited abroad.
