THE Zambia Athletics (ZA) is targeting to raise K1.5 million during this year’s edition of the Inter-Company Relay (ICR) set for July 13 at the Showgrounds. ZA is gathering a net of K500,000 to go towards the development of athletics in the country. The 24th edition of the ICR will be held under the theme “Mitigating Climate Change”, to raise funds to train and qualify athletes for the senior African Championships and the Paris Olympic Games. Madison Financial Services unveiled a sponsorship package of K350,000 while ZSIC Insurance and Top Star pumped in K200,000 each, with Dr Agarwal Eye Hospital coming in with a K50,000.
