SOUTHERN Africa Network Against Corruption (SANAC) president Dr Kasenzi Kalenga has welcomed the dismissal of former Ministry of Health Permanent Secretary Christopher Simoonga, Foreign Affairs PS Hope Situmbeko and Energy PS Francesca Zyambo. However, Kalenga has called for an investigation into the former PSs, particularly Prof Simoonga, who was fired following the Global Fund tender scandal. President Hakainde Hichilema fired the trio last Friday. He also appointed Arnold Simwaba as Permanent Secretary for Electricity in the Ministry of Energy, Louis Mulube as PS at the Public Service Management Division (PSMD) and Zacharia Luhanga as Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Labour.
