GOVERNMENT has disclosed that 125,886 hectares, representing 15 per cent of planted land, has so far been affected by fall army worms. Ministry of Agriculture Director for Agriculture Dr Chizumba Shepande says while government has procured chemicals to respond to the attack, farmers must supplement the state’s effort by buying their own pesticides.
