THE Zambia Compulsory Standards Agency (ZCSA) says it licensed 40 new manufacturers of beverages, food and non-food products in the third quarter of 2025. In a statement, Sunday, ZCSA Acting Manager-Communications and Public Relations Onishias Maamba said Lusaka Province had the highest number of new licensed manufacturers at 26, while Western and Southern Provinces recorded the lowest at one each. “The Zambia Compulsory Standards Agency (ZCSA) licensed 40 new manufacturers of beverages, food and non-food products covered by compulsory standards in the third quarter of 2025 in six provinces, thereby underscoring the Agency’s determination to protect public health and safety.
