POLICE in Itezhi-Tezhi have detained a 29-year-old man for allegedly raping his stepsister, aged 35. In a statement, Southern Province Police Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo confirmed the incident, stating that the matter was reported to police on November 26. “Itezhi-Tezhi Police Station received a report of incest and rape from a 35-year-old female resident of Muzovu Village, Chief Musungwa, Itezhi-Tezhi District. She reported that she had allegedly been raped by her 29-year-old step brother, who resides in the same village.
