THE Constitutional Court has dismissed a renewed application by a Lusaka lawyer who sought to reverse a single judge’s ruling that refused to stay Speaker Nelly Mutti’s decision to declare the Chawama seat vacant. In this matter, Tresford Chali dragged Attorney General Mulilo Kabesha to the Constitutional Court, seeking an order to declare null and void Speaker Mutti’s decision to declare Tasila Lungu’s parliamentary seat vacant.
