THE Drug Enforcement Commission [DEC] and the Energy Regulation Board [ERB] have seized over 10,000 litres of petroleum products and arrested three suspects in connection with illegal fuel storage and distribution. In a joint statement, Friday, ERB Manager Public Relations Namukolo Kasumpa and DEC Deputy Public Relations Officer Theresa Mawere said the illegal fuel storage facility was uncovered in Lusaka’s Kasupe area. “In a continued drive to protect the integrity of the petroleum sector and combat illicit fuel activities, the Energy Regulation Board (ERB), working alongside the Drug Enforcement Commission (DEC)-led Task Force on Fuel Smuggling and Vending, has uncovered an illegal fuel storage and distribution activity in Lusaka, leading to the seizure of over 10,000 litres of petroleum products...
