THE trial of film producer David Kazadi, social media influencer Mwaka Halwindi and Ruby Muzandu, who are facing charges of producing, possessing and circulating alleged obscene material, has been adjourned to October 13, 2026. The matter was scheduled to take place on Monday but could not proceed as Magistrate Kawama Mwamfuli was unavailable. Magistrate Mwamfuli is presiding over tribunal hearings connected to local government election petitions. Kazadi and Halwindi had earlier pleaded not guilty to charges of producing, possessing and circulating obscene material.
