Police in Lusaka have arrested a 47-year-old man of Garden House for pushing his wife out of a moving vehicle after an argument.
In a statement, Monday, Police spokesperson Esther Mwaata Katongo narrated that the incident occurred around 02:00 hours on Sunday when Kenneth Taguta went to pick up his wife from the airport.
“Police at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport yesterday, Sunday, 04th August around 11:05 hours received a report of attempted murder which occurred along Airport road near Research Institute around 02:00 hours. Involved is male Kenneth Taguta aged 47 years of Garden house area in Lusaka who went to pick his wife Lilian Kasalika aged 45 years who was coming from Nairobi, Kenya and he was in a company of his 14 year old daughter. After picking her, on their way along the Airport road, the couple picked up a quarrel and the husband opened the front passenger’s door where the wife was and pushed her out from the moving motor vehicle (Prado) and she landed on the ground with the head,” read the statement.
“She sustained multiple injuries and became unconscious and was rushed to Levy Mwanawasa Hospital where she’s still admitted. She was bleeding through the nose and was unable to talk. The suspect was apprehended and is detained in Police custody.”

How did he manage to go to the passenger’s side of the to open and push her out whilst driving at the same time? Or was someone else driving?? Who should have also stopped after noticing the physical fight? May God heal this lady and may justice be done
