The UPND has filed a complaint at Masala Police Station against Kabushi PF member of parliament Bowman Lusambo for hate speech against their leader, Hakainde Hichilema.
UPND Kabushi constituency chairman Henry Bwalya alleged that Lusambo, who is also Lusaka Province Minister, had been uttering hate speech against Hichilema which he said had potential to set Copperbelt on fire.
“This is not the first time this Bowman Lusambo is using hate and insulting language on president HH. If we react, we will be called names, because we have the capacity to face Bowman. But we want the law to take its course,” Bwalya said.
Bwalya said the party was worried Lusambo would force them to take the law into their own hands.
Bwalya said the party was also considering dragging Lusambo to court to justify his accusations that HH is a Satanist who is collaborating with South Africa-based Nigerian prophet based Seer 1.
On Saturday February 8, 2020 during a public rally at Lubuto market, Lusambo said Hichilema was a Satanist who was collaborating with Seer 1.
