THE Ministry of Finance and National Planning has announced that International Monetary Fund (IMF) Deputy Managing Director Antoinette Sayeh will visit Zambia from June 14 to 15, to hold discussions with government. According to a statement issued by the Ministry, Monday, the high-level talks between the IMF and government would focus on recent economic developments, the effect of global economic developments such as high oil and fertilizer prices on the Zambian economy, and also the progress made on debt restructuring.
