AGRICULTURE Minister Mtolo Phiri has told farmers that government is optimistic that they will receive their inputs before the onset of rains despite the fertiliser tender process not being finalised yet. And Phiri has clarified that at the moment, no company has been picked to supply fertiliser. The Ministry of Agriculture recently availed six firms as the best-evaluated bidders for the supply of fertiliser for the 2022/23 farming season.
