MINISTER of Livestock and Fisheries Makozo Chikote has hailed stakeholders for joining hands with government in brainstorming ways to address the CBPP outbreak in Chisamba and Chibombo in order to prevent future similar occurrences. And Ministry of Livestock and Fisheries Principal Veterinary Officer Dr Cornelius Mundia says Contagious Bovine Pleuropneumonia (CBPP) is a disease of cattle with a mortality rate of up to 50%, thereby causing significant economic losses.
