THE Bank of Zambia (BoZ) has disclosed that it has withdrawn K13.7 billion of the old currency. Speaking during a briefing, Wednesday, BoZ Assistant Director of Banking Waza Mukombwe Nguni said 81 percent of the old currency had been withdrawn from the public as at October 31. “As at the 31st of October, we have withdrawn 13.7 billion. We have 3.1 billion still on the market, and this represents 81 percent of what we had as at March 31, 2025,” said Nguni.
