THE Millers Association of Zambia (MAZ) says the current increase in mealie meal prices is normal due to the fact that farmers have sold their produce and are now consuming commercially produced mealie meal. In some parts of Lusaka, a 25 Kg bag of breakfast mealie meal is fetching between K280 and K300, after recently seeing a decrease of between K200 and K240.
