ZCCM-IH Board Chairperson Phesto Musonda says mining companies are now paying more in taxes and royalties as most mines are becoming profitable. Musonda adds that the company’s income went up by more than 40 percent last year, stating that this was driven by royalties from Kansanshi Copper Mine as well as its S3 expansion project.
