THE Anti-Corruption Commission has asked the Lusaka High Court to set aside the out-of-court settlement entered into with Ronald Chitotela, arguing that the former tourism minister misrepresented facts and didn’t fully disclose the property he acquired illegitimately. The commission has disclosed that in a letter dated September 20, 2019, Chitotela’s wife, Lillian, requested to be given back the property surrendered to ACC by her husband, claiming that she had acquired the property through legitimate sources and that she had made substantial developments on the property, all out of savings arising from her employment.
