TWENTY-TWO UPND members have sued the State in the Lusaka High Court demanding K110,000 special damages for unlawful detention. Bobkins Chipeso and 21 others have cited the Attorney General as the respondent, further seeking aggravated and exemplary damages as well as general damages. The plaintiffs stated in their statement of claim that they were unlawfully detained at Kabwata police station for seven days without a charge or bond.
