THE Court of Appeal has refused to halt the execution of a High Court judgement which ordered Chilola Intertrade Limited, a company in which former solicitor general Abraham Mwansa and his wife Charity are directors, to pay CEEC over K3 million outstanding loan. Court of Appeal judge Justin Chashi says there is nothing to stay as the Citizens Economic Empowerment Commission (CEEC) has already sold the mortgaged property, a lodge belonging to Mwansa, which is now in possession of a third party.
