HANDBALL Association of Zambia president Bwalya Banda says the association is still scouting for sponsors for the Super League which kicks off this Sunday.

In an interview, Banda said the association would still go on with the super league season despite not having a sponsor.

“We are going to go on with this year’s league. We don’t want to disturb the calendar,” Banda said.

Banda however said the association was in discussion with some companies which had shown interest to sponsor the league.

Meanwhile, Banda disclosed that the league had new teams that came on board from Southern, Western, Central and Copperbelt provinces.

“We have included teams from other provinces. We have Siavonga, Limulunga Royal and Chambishi Metals handball teams. This is an indication that we are going to have a tough league this year,” said Banda.
