Eighty golfers from three different African Countries today battled it out in a one day golf tournament organised by Metropolitan Health Zambia at Lusaka Golf Club.

Speaking to the News Diggers! in an interview, Metropolitan Chief Executive Officer and Country Head Dr Lovemore Gomera said the tournament was aimed at improving vitality, wellness and to encourage health lifestyles among Zambians of all ages.

Dr Gomera said the event was part of the on-going the Metropolitan group commitment towards activities that support health and fitness as part of its overall corporate strategy to provide top quality health care solutions.

“Today we as Metropolitan Health Zambia decided to come up with this tournament in order to honor our clients and partners. We believe that we have a lot to offer in Zambia and also over solutions in terms of health,” Dr Gomera said.

He said the tournament attracted golfers from Zambia, South Africa and Zimbabwe.
