NATIONAL team coach Moses Sichone has unveiled a 41-man provisional squad ahead of the upcoming international friendly matches against South Africa and Burundi. Sichone, who replaced Avram Grant in the dugout, has summoned a number of key players, including 2012 AFCON winning defender Stophila Sunzu, who has not featured for the Chipolopolo in over eight months Sichone has also turned to Mangani Banda, the goalkeeper who was instrumental in Zambia’s triumph at the 2017 U-20 AFCON. Banda, currently in superb form at Kabwe Warriors, will compete for a starting spot in goal with Francis Mwansa of Zanaco, Willard Mwanza from Power Dynamos, and Charles Kalumba from Red Arrows.
