Zambia Athletics Association President Major Bernard Bwalya has commended Konkola Copper Mines (KCM) for being an upstanding corporate citizen. “KCM is doing a lot in terms of corporate social responsibility,” he said. This statement was made following KCM’s contribution to the Kopala Intercompany Relay (ICR). The 2025 iteration was dubbed the KCM Kopala Intercompany Relay after the company donated the largest amount of money towards the event. KCM has a storied history of supporting sports in Zambia.
