POLICE on the Copperbelt Province have apprehended a 33-year-old man of Ndola’s Lubuto township for attempting to steal money amounting to K1,800 at a mobile money booth. In a statement, Wednesday, Copperbelt acting commanding officer Sharon Zulu said the suspect, Enock Mulenga, went to a mobile money booth with the view to withdraw money purported to have been sent by another person. She explained that after being given an agent code, the suspect sent it to his colleague who afterwards sent a fake message to the complainant purporting to show that money amounting to K1,800 had been withdrawn. “Attempt to obtain money by false pretences.
