ACTING Minister of Home Affairs and Internal Security Ambrose Lufuma says government will recruit 3,000 police officers this year. Responding to a question from Chasefu independent MP Misheck Nyambose on whether government had any plans to recruit police officers in 2022 and whether there were any plans to decentralise the recruitment process to the constituency level, Lufuma responded in the affirmative.
