THE Anti-Corruption Commission has arrested a Coordinator at the National Authorising Office to the European Development Fund, Chasiya Kazembe, for allegedly conspiring to defraud the government of US $800,000 by purchasing an Office building at US$5,000,000, instead of US$ 4,200,000. And the Commission has arrested Kazembe for abusing the authority of her office by allocating former Secretary to the Treasury Fredson Yamba an institutional vehicle for the National Authorising Office which he was not entitled to.
