FORMER vice-president Enock Kavindele says former president Edgar Lungu should attempt to reciprocate President Hakainde Hichilema’s good gesture of inviting him to national events because he is still part of governance. Lungu shunned the Independence Day celebrations at State House on Monday, prompting President Hakainde Hichilema to recognise his predecessor’s public service in absentia. Reacting to this, Infrastructure and Urban Development Minister Charles Milupi said Lungu continued to shun national functions because he was bitter about the 2021 election loss.
