FORMER defence minister Davies Chama says government is wasting resources by engaging external firms to audit security wings when the Auditor General’s office is capable of doing that. Finance and National Planning Minister Dr Situmbeko Musokotwane recently told Parliament that government engaged external firms to audit security wings because the Auditor General indicated that his office was occupied with other assignments.
