FORMER defence minister George Mpombo says there’s need for an acting Auditor General to be appointed to replace Dr Dick Sichembe so that the corruption fight within government is not thrown off a tangent. And UPND Spokesperson Cornelius Mweetwa says most PF members are finding the arrest of the Auditor General strange because of the lawlessness that characterised their leadership. Last week, the Anti-Corruption Commission arrested and charged Dr Sichembe for corrupt practices involving over K1 million.
