PF central committee member Mumbi Phiri says Antonio Mwanza should leave the former ruling party quietly without provoking anyone. On Thursday, Mwanza resigned from his position as PF media director and withdrew his membership from the party, citing lack of direction and commitment to hold the convention to elect a new leader. Mwanza said it would be unfair for anyone to question his loyalty to the former ruling party as he defended and fought for it.
