POLICE Inspector General Graphael Musamba has insisted that there is no police brutality in the country, urging those who claim they were assaulted by his officers to produce medical reports. On Monday, Musamba said police were very professional and he asked the opposition to tone down and cooperate or leave police with no choice but to apply minimum force against them. But there was some backlash from the Patriotic Front and the Law Association of Zambia who condemned increased cases of police brutality.
