THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has told candidates who participated in Thursday’s polls that it is illegal for them to declare themselves winners. And ECZ Chairperson Mwangala Zaloumis says the security threat that earlier prompted the Commission to suspend the counting and announcement of election results throughout the country has been contained and that necessary measures have been put in place to enable the process to continue.
