WORLD Bank regional vice-president Victoria Kwakwa says as of July 1, the bank has only been giving Zambia grants. And Dr Kwakwa says the World Bank has appointed a new country manager for Zambia, Achim Fock, who will take up residence next week. Meanwhile, Vice-President Mutale Nalumango has thanked the World Bank for the help it rendered during the debt restructuring process, saying the deal which the country has clinched puts it in a better position to get favourable terms from the private lenders.
