FORMER Labour minister Joyce Simukoko says one cannot compare the minimum wage that was effected during PF’s time to what has been approved now because conditions of service change over time. On Monday, Labour and Social Security Minister Brenda Tambatamba announced an increase in the minimum wage for domestic workers which now stands at K1,300. Tambatamba also announced an increase in the minimum wages for shop workers, ranging between K2,313.10 and K4,638.25, among others.
