A 20-YEAR-OLD fisherman of Nakanga village in Chilundundike area, Siavonga district, has drowned after the canoe he was on capsized on Lake Kariba. Confirming the development to ZANIS in an interview, the area Councilor Special Mulaziki, of Munyama ward, named the deceased as Kubota Mukwangu, who met his fate around 14:00 hours, Sunday. Mulaziki disclosed that after completing an errand in neighbouring Manchvwa Lakeshore village, Mukwangu battled with the sudden change of the tide on the lake causing his dug-out canoe to capsize.
