THE Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) is investigating the Sheriff of Zambia Claudia Luswili for abuse of office among other allegations. The commission summoned Luswili to appear for interrogation yesterday Friday. Luswili arrived at ACC around 10:00 hours without a lawyer accompanying her and was held in the interrogation room until 13:30 hours when she left the Commission. When asked why she was appearing for questioning, Luswili referred all queries to the Commission, which did not respond to a press query by press time. The head of the Sheriff’s Offices is appointed by the Judicial Service Commission, in accordance with the Sheriff’s Act number 37 of the laws of Zambia.
