VETERAN politician Vernon Johnson Mwaanga says he does not agree with sentiments from some quarters of society that there is a shrinking democratic space in the country. And Mwaanga says Zambia has faced a similar drought situation before, expressing confidence that the country will emerge victorious. A number of opposition leaders, including former president Edgar Lungu and Socialist Party leader Dr Fred M’membe have bemoaned what they term as the shrinking space in the country.
