LOCAL Government and Rural Development Minister Gift Sialubalo says he believes that an insider at Limulunga Town Council helped initiate the unauthorised transfer of over K2.8 million from the council bank account. The council lost the funds after hackers gained illegal access to the account and transferred the money to 160 different SIM cards. Limulunga Council Secretary Namenda Kaonga confirmed that the incident took place in July and was being investigated by the police.
