AN American tourist identified as Firman Patrick Lawrence, 68, has drowned during white water rafting on the Zambezi River below the Victoria Falls. Southern Province Commanding Officer Moono Namalongo confirmed the incident, which occurred on Friday, November 13, at Rapid Number 7, nicknamed ‘Gulliver’s Travels’ by rafting companies. “On November 13, 2025, at 22:30 hours, Livingstone Central Police Station received a report of drowning from Mr Obey Hamuchemba, aged 47, a Director at Nyami Nyami Rafting Company in Livingstone.
