THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) says it is aware of schemes by some political parties to launch hostile cadres into Chawama and Kasama, to destabilise campaigns ahead of the by-elections. ECZ Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Brown Kasaro has warned that violence or any abrogation of the Electoral Code of Conduct ahead of the Chawama and Kasama by-elections may lead to political parties being suspended from conducting campaigns.
