THE Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) has proposed that the nomination fees for male presidential candidates be at K100,000. And Chief Electoral Officer Brown Kasaro says the Commission will engage the Registrar of Societies over concerns of delay in updating office bearers for the political parties. The Commission yesterday held a stakeholder meeting with political party leaders, secretary generals, election chairpersons and campaign managers of over 50 political parties. Among those who were present are Dr Fred M’membe, Harry Kalaba, Kelvin Fube Bwalya, Chishala Kateka, Dolika Banda, and Professor Danny Pule while the UPND was represent by Education Minister Douglas Syakalima.
