THE Examinations Council of Zambia (ECZ) says it has detected 10 forged Grade 12 certificates during the verification of qualifications for aspiring candidates ahead of the 2026 general elections. ECZ Executive Director Dr Michael Chilala says the Council has since reported these cases to law enforcement agencies for further processes and action. Further, Dr Chilala has disclosed that the Council replaced and issued a total of 334 certificates to aspiring candidates who lost their original qualifications between 2021 and 2026.
