TRANSPARENCY International Zambia (TI-Z) has urged investigative agencies to investigate allegations that UPND officials and supporters have offered money to aspiring candidates to withdraw from electoral contests. TI-Z Executive Director Maurice Nyambe has also called on all political parties to publicly share their revised political party manifestos covering the period 2026 to 2031. He adds that public concerns over the relative silence observed during the first weeks of the campaign period imply that political parties are not actively engaging with electorates, which could lead to voter apathy.
