THE National Heritage Conservation Commission (NHCC) has revealed that road grading activities by the Chirundu Town Council have exposed human skeletons at the Ng’ombe Ilede National Monument Site. NHCC Director of Conservation Services Macmillan Mudenda says it is unfortunate that the council undertook the works without guidance and clearance from the Commission, given the sensitive nature of the site.
