MAZIKO Phiri has been re-elected as Zambia Basketball Federation president, taking charge of a new executive committee as the federation grapples with a K26,238 deficit for the financial year ending April 30, 2026. The audited financial statements presented to the ZBF Annual General Meeting reveal a significant reversal from the K23,665 surplus recorded in the previous financial year. The federation generated K41,438 in revenue during the year, a sharp decline from K106,780 in 2025, while other income also dropped dramatically from K2.18 million to K212,300.
